At this point, even many of his democrat colleagues have called for him to step down. Despite reports he is planning to resign, Franken tweeted late Wednesday night he has not already made a decision and will address the situation Thursday.
Senator Franken is talking with his family at this time and plans to make an announcement in D.C. tomorrow. Any reports of a final decision are inaccurate.

We all now wait with anticipation for Franken’s announcement while he reflects on what to do.
Franken’s troubles began when Los Angeles radio host Leeann Tweeden accused him of forcibly kissing her and posing for a photo with his hands on her breasts as she slept. Tweeden posted an article to detail the incidents that she says occurred during a USO tour in 2006.

Since Tweeden’s accusations, other women have come forward and claimed Franken acted inappropriately or groped them in some way.
