The stars of the movie “Black Panther” couldn’t resist chiming in with their thoughts on the portraits of the Obama’s.
While reviews were initially mixed, the “Black Panther” cast had wonderful things to say about the portraits of President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama. The actors were attending a New York event for the movie when they were asked their reactions to the portraits.
Michael B. Jordan even went as far to suggest he wants to hang them in his house.
Official portraits of President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama were unveiled Monday at the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C.
Obama’s portrait, which was painted by Kehinde Wiley, depicts the 44th president seated in front of greenery and flowers. Mrs. Obama’s painting, done by Amy Sherald, places the Harvard grad in a black and white gown, seated and poised.
