California resident drives through neighborhood engulfed in flames

At least 15 people are dead as wildfires spread across California, causing a state of emergency in several counties. California Governor Jerry Brown declared a state of emergency in Napa, Sonoma and Yuba counties, concerned the wildfires are threatening thousands of homes.

Alyssa O’Gorman, a resident in the area, posted a terrifying video on Twitter while driving around her neighborhood engulfed in flames.

At least 2,000 homes and businesses have been destroyed.

Napa County Fire Chief Barry Biermann says the fires had burned more than 68 square miles, according to the Associated Press.
