Co. Exec. Fitzgerald and Mayor Peduto declare #HereWeGo Days

County Executive Rich Fitzgerald and City of Pittsburgh Mayor William Peduto have declared Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as #HereWeGo Days in Allegheny County and the City of Pittsburgh.

From January 12-14, 2018,  there are a few things fans are encouraged to do.

They can show their support by rocking black and gold or Steelers gear, help decorate the “Terrible Tree” in the Courthouse Courtyard, attend Saturday’s Steelers Pep Rally, and for anyone attending the game, being loud!

Fitzgerald shared this video Thursday on his Twitter page of the “Terrible Tree” being set up.

Peduto and Fitzgerald will be attending Saturday’s Pep Rally.

If you are interested in attending, the rally is beginning at 6 p.m. at Stage AE on the North Shore. Admission to the event is free for all Steelers fans.

The first 1,000 fans through the door at the event will receive a special Fathead giveaway featuring six current Steelers players.

Steelers alumni and celebrity guests will appear throughout the evening. Guests scheduled to appear include Santonio Holmes, Willie Parker, Rocky Bleier, Alan Faneca, Franco Harris and Carey Davis. The Steeline Drumline will also perform.

So grab your Pittsburgh Steeler’s gear and get ready for #HereWeGo weekend!
