Members of the 911th Airlift Wing are on their way to Florida to help with Irma relief.
RabbleVID user and airman, Chris Edge, submitted this video of his comrades and himself readying to fly out to Florida.
Airman Edge says, “We received the phone call at 10 p.m., worked through the night to be flight ready to take off at 8 a.m. Our mission will last anywhere from 10-60 days to aid in cleanup and rebuilding of the communities devastated by Irma. Keep us in your prayers.”
Several areas of Florida were devastated by Irma’s wind and flooded by storm surge.
The 911th Airlift Wing is Pittsburgh’s Air Reserve Station based at Pittsburgh International Airport.
