Large mulch fire still burns in N. Fayette

Additional fire crews are showing up to help battle a mulch fire at a recycling plant in North Fayette Township. The fire began early Wednesday morning at Wood Waste Recycling on Kelso Road.

RabbleVID’s Patrick was on scene and says several methods are being used to try and extinguish the fire.

Four additional fire trucks have showed up to assist with the fire.

The smoke forced the closure of eastbound lane on Route 22 earlier, but it has since reopened.

We will update this story as it develops.
