Back in March, the bill failed to pass in the house due to opposition.
People took to Twitter with their reactions:
House passed the damaging American Health Care Act, to rip health coverage from 24 million. Start calling your senators now. #ProtectOurCare

Government leaders also expressed their opinions regarding the bill passing via Twitter.
