With three men on and two out in the bottom of the 6th inning in St. Louis, the Cardinals were down a run when Yadier Molina stepped up to the plate. That’s when a small cat ran on the baseball field at Busch Stadium.
A lucky member of the grounds crew ran into the outfield, snatched up the cat and began running back in with the cat. It’s safe to say the kitty didn’t like all of that jostling.

After the cat was safely off the field (and the grounds team member a little worse for wear), Molina ripped a game-winning grand slam.
The Cardinals defeated the Kansas City Royals 8-5.
This isn’t the first time a cat has crashed an MLB game this year. Another “Rally Cat” crashed a Marlins game in April.
