VegFest is a veggie lovers dream — and it made its way back to Pittsburgh on Saturday!
Hosted by the nonprofit organization Justice for Animals, the third annual VegFest brought together music, vendors, rock climbing, cruelty-free food, and even a dancing carrot at Allegheny Commons East in the heart of Pittsburgh.
RabbleVID user Pwhite7 grabbed video of the festival heating up.
The unique festival offered activities, cruelty-free products for sale, informative speakers and vegan twists on classic snacks, like nachos and s’mores.
According to VegFest’s website, pets of any kind were welcome at the event, as the creators consider the festival a celebration of animals.
The healthy fair, which ran from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., featured local vendors from both small businesses and top-notch vegan establishments.
