Warm temps to fade quickly, winter storm on its way

Pittsburgh is currently enjoying temperatures in the mid-60s, but that’s going to end quickly.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for the greater Pittsburgh area Thursday. The storm watch is for Friday afternoon through Saturday afternoon.

Thursday will be unseasonably warm, but that will all start to change later Friday. The storm will start with rain.

Depending on the storm’s track, there is a great bit of uncertainty as to how much snow or ice will fall.
