At the press of a button, the floor which conceals the organ console retracts and the glittlering gold leaf and black lacquer theater organ rises out of the depths as if by magic. As we enter the Halloween season, be prepared to be horrified as aspiring young opera singer Chrisine Daae discovers that she has a mysterious admirer intent on helping her become a lead performer. This engimatic masked presence Erik, also know as the Phantom. Mary Philbin, Lon Chaney and Norman Kerry star in this silent horror classic which will be accompanied by the inimitable Dave Wickerman. Dave is so discerning and has such a command of the organ that you will become part of every gripping scene-and you will never agian view the Phantom the same. This year's ICOM NATHIST conference is being hosted by Carnegie Museum of Natural History and will explore the various manifestations of the Anthropocene within the fields of nature, art, and the humanities as well as synergies between them. During the conference attendees will hear from scientists, authors, fine artists, and social historians all coming together to explore this topic together.
